I agree with the article heading, "Hitting a Ball Doesn't Make Someone a Hero." It's true, it's who you are outside of what you do that counts. A person shouldn't call someone their role model just because they can hit a ball. It should be because of who the person is, and how they contribute to the community. They are leaders, even if they are not always loud. They are leaders by doing the right thing. You should only call someone your role model if you believe they are setting a good example for you. That is what a true role model is.

I agree with Jenna because people call certain athletes their hero when they dont deserve to be. I think kids get the term hero and role model mixed up because they don't realize heroes do things outside of their sport. People should look at what athletes do to help others on their own time and not what they do during the game to consider them a hero or not.
