Wildlife Project

I think we should put together some kind of fundraiser. I think a couple big banners where most people see it each day(front of school lobby, and cafeteria). I also think, in all honesty we could do win your ramon in height. It could be like a dollar an entry and the winner wins their height in the noddle packs. I think kids would love that idea and support it. It will be easy to raise all the money. I think donations of the towels, tissue and toliet paper will also be easy. Everyone has them around and can spare them. We can also ask some stores for small donations(a few rolls) and they may help since its such a small demand.

I think the Ronald McDonald House is a great idea. I have been there once before in 8th grade and we held a ice cream party for all the kids. It gives everyone a sense of the hardships these kids and families go through and is a great way to impact lives in a great way. I think the whole dinner thing is a great idea. I am a good cook and would be willing to help cook the chicken, if that's what we decide to cook. It will be a great experience for the class if everything works out.

ramen drive

I think that we should hold a ramen noodle drive if the food banks verify that there is a need. I think that the specificness of the drive would help get more people to participate and i think that since ramen is cheep it wont be hard to get a good amount of it.

Project Ideas

I think either running a food drive for the holidays or a hat/glove/scarf drive for the winter would be somewhat easy tasks to perform not only as a class but as a school community. I think these simple things are the way for the majority of people to help out without asking to much.

The letter I am going to write about is going to be for the drinking age. I think it should be lowered back to 18 like it used to be. I dont know why it was ever changed in the first place. I think if you are old enough to be living on your own then you are old enough to be able to drink as you please.

I think the driving age should not be raised above 18 years old. It should stay the same or be moved down lower . They should be more responsible when they drive and tested harder for there drivers license. Tyler p

For my letter im going to write about the drinking age. I think that it should be revised to be less then 21 years of age. I think that if you are old enuf to drive a car, go to war and vote for elected officials, then you should have the privlage to drink responsively at the same age.

I think an activisit would be counted as a form of service only under certain conditions. If an activist is doing only what they believe is right, then it may not benefit the communtiy. If an activist is doing what the community wants as a whole, then it could be considered a form of service. But if not everyone agrees what the activist is doing, then it sho uldn't be counted as service. Service is benefiting a community as a whole, not just for the one person.

I think that you have to count an activist for the NRA as service. Even though they are raising the concern of putting more guns on the street, they still are voulenteering their time talent and sometimes treasure to accomplish a selfless goal.

donkey

helping the donkey is the right thing to do, even if it is owned by a person you hate. it didnt choose to be owned by that person and it is suffering so you should help it. i think its different to help the person you hate if they were suffering. it would still be the right thing to do but im not sure that i would help them.

Interview

I think doing the interview was a great thing for me. I feel I can talk to strangers now more openly and have gained a sense of maturity from the interview. I had a good time doing that and overcame great fear and nerves to accomplish the task. The interview should be something other classes should do to be able to store all the first hand accounts of the vets.

i think i should take the donkey even though its called stealing. I dont like the other person because he is abusing the donkey so i have the right to steal it. So the donkeyz mine.

Donkey

I think helping the donkey is the right thing to do. Although you hate the person, you don't hate the donkey. You have to remember that the donkey is a living creature and it is probabbly suffering. It would be different if it were a material possession or if it were the person that was in a tough situation, but its a donkey who did nothing to you and requires your help so it is your duty to help it.

in my opinion helping the donkey would be the right thing to do, even though it belongs to the person you hate. they are abusing it by making it carry so much stuff, so the donkey probably hates the guy too. so its not like you helping your enemy, because the donkey never did anything to you.
